VideoReDo should be able to write to a dvr-ms file, which you should be able
to burn with Media Center. Be aware that you probably can't get much more
than 1 hour without Media Center offering to reduce the quality to get it to
fit. I've been able to burn somewhat reliably if I don't reduce the quality,
but if I do, generally the burn fails.
You can get longer movies if you have dual-layer burner and dual-layer
media, but as far as I can tell the MCE burning engine (Sonic burning
engine, actually) doesn't support dual-layer burning.

The MCD DVD authoring facility is very rudimentary. If you want to do anything
beyond quickly archiving an episode of 'Friends' I would recommend using a
proper DVD authoring package outside the MCE interface.
