If you buy just the software as an OEM version, it comes with a disc 2.
If you bought your computer pre-built, they might have a folder with the
contents of disc 2 on your drive (the HP that I use to have had this).

Hi Jason,
Have you ever tried, as a humble consumer, to get disc 2 of the Media
Center
2005 install set?

If you don't have media center install discs, see if your computer
manufacturer left the contents of install discs on the hard drive.

I entered the CD and DVD in the CD Rom drive. It does not read
either. I
erroneously unclicked the Sonic CD and DVD Burning in the
ADD/REMOVE
WINDOWS
COMPONENETS. When I clicked the checkmark to attempt to reinstall
it,
I
get
the following message: THE FILE 'Author Script.dll' ON WINDOWS XP
PROFESSIONAL CD 2 IS NEEDED.
How do I resolve? Do I need to purchase Windows XP Pro to
reinstall
the
drive?
If I upgraded to Windows XP Pro or Windows Vista, will this also
solve
this
problem?
Wouldn't you prefer the simpler & cheaper solution?
