Re: Problem with my MCE PC - Day 3

In light of your other replies to Dana, I would check to ensure that your
power supply is sufficient for your system. It could be that the power
supply cannot provide enough power to your system especially when things
that need more power (like games) are run.

You might want to try the new ATI Catalyst 7.2 drivers.

They are available now from ATI's website.

Goooood Morning Alllll,

To continue the thread on this subject - my position was the BSOD would
appear when I would run a game. Based on the advice from those who
replied I
removed the drivers that were updated from MS updates and completely
removed
the ATI drivers and software from the MCE PC and re-installed the ATI
software with the most update from ATI which is version 7.1 (thanks
Dana
!).
After installation I rebooted the PC and got ready to run a game and
hey
presto!

The BSOD appeared once again - and with no code - just the blank blue
screen
!! So from that I'd say that it is not the drivers of the graphics
card
and
I then proceeded to do the graphics card test and that was ok.

So where do I go from here ? Any suggestions ? I need help really bad
now
at this stage as the kids are starting to stage a sit in and refuse to
do
as
their told.
