Offhand I would suggest installing the latest Media Center drivers for your
video card...if that doesn't do it, give us more info and we'll see what
else we can suggest...

Hello all,
I have an alienware media centre pc with XP SP2 and just of late I am not
able to play games on it as I was before. I haven't play any games on the
pc
in over a week and in between this I had completed XP updates to which
there
were 13. I update regularly BTW. Every time I insert the Game CD the
machine starts the game with the relevant main menu. Then after clicking
on
play etc the PC gives me the blue screen of death (as I call it) and
reboots.
This action does not happen with any other software e.g Office runs
perfectly.
Urgent help required as my son is also bugging me to play his games and
can't.

First disable the automatic rebooting by going to Control Panel and then open System>Advanced>Startup and Recovery>Settings and under System Failure uncheck "Automatically Restart". ...
