I tested with ethernet cable to x box 360 with no luck. Also, while connected
by ethernet cable and despite seeing the mac address on my router with a
dynamic ip address, it could not connect to xbox Live. Once again no 3rd
party firewall, we run an exclusive Microsoft shop. Firmware is latest
release 2.76. The link indicates firmware through 2.70 is supported. it must
not be up to date with latest release.

Do you have a 3rd party firewall product installed? Also, try connecting
your Xbox directly to your PC using an Ethernet cable. Lastly, have a look

The D-Link 624 is listed as a compatible product. Try upgrading your
router's firmware to one of the supported versions as listed on this page.

D-Link 624 80211\g shows xbox on private network via wireless adapter.
connects to xbox live. PC is ethernet connected to same router. IP address
same private subnet. Downloaded media center extender from web site and
installed. When I launch it via start->accessories->media center->mce
extender manger-> add an xbox and provide the 8 diget code, mce cannot
connect to xbox. DvcConn.log shows "Timed out waiting for affiliation
status". At each reboot I am prompted to add a newly found xbox with same
outcome.
