Hello -
How far did you get in connecting the two devices? Did you get as far as
entering the 8-digit number from the XBox 360 into your Vista Media Center?
To step back for a second, do you have both machines on the same network? If
so, can you confirm that the Vista machine has its network listed as a
"Home" network? Finally, when the screen locks up, what are you seeing?

I just bought a new cpu with Vista home premium . I have a 360 and want to
set up Media center and use it with my 360.
I have followed all the instructions to install it to my 360. I cannot see
to see anything I have set as shared on my 360 because the screen on my
360
freezes up after about 20 seconds.
I have tried uninstalling it from my 360 and moving the 360 icon from the
menu on media center and reinstalling things and it still locks up after
20
or so seconds
