Graphics card list

How inclusive/exclusive is the list of "approved components" for MCE?
I know I'll need a new card before I try to install MCE as I'm using
a Savage S3-Trio card that came in my old 1st generation Gateway
pentium desktop in 1994. [I have had other cards over the years,
but they crap out & I throw that old card in and it works for me---
streaming video is a little jerky, and I'm obviously not a gamer.]
So I'm looking to get out of this as cheap as possible. I have an
Abit NF-s MB with PCI slots and an AGP slot.
I'm looking at Newegg- and for $34 they have;
MSI FX5200-TD128LF Geforce FX5200 DDR AGP 4X/8X Low Profile Video Card
The closest match I see on the approved list is;
"FX5200-T128 GeForce FX 5200"
Is that 'LF' on Newegg's listing just like a series or something that
doesn't matter- or does it make this card *not* on the list of
approved components?
I'm also open to suggestions if someone knows of a decent, cheap card.
I won't be gaming- but hopefully will get around to setting up a tuner
and PVR on this box. [though not in the immediate future.] I doubt
I'll have an interest in Vista before 2010- so Vista ready doesn't
interest me.
Thanks,
Jim
