See if this helps (re: Norton blocking Xbox 360 from working as an

Jaime thank you to respond. I have 3 disk in the package.
Disk 1 ( which I put in first)
Disk 2 (was asking me the SP2 and I put in Disk 1 again *remembered from
other posts*)
Disk 3 which is an updates for Windo XP MCE 2005
Somewhere in the installation asked me about the frame 1.1 and Frame 1.1
sp2. don't remember when. I ordered the Vista CD upgrade so I wait until
it
will come.
Does anybody received it yet?
Zune is working now, media center is working, the only problem is the XBOX
360 works only if Norton is off. Any idea how to fix that?
Thanks

Coming in late on this thread, but if what you were doing is installing
MCE
2005 and you went through all that work, then you may still have a messed
up
install. You might want to consider doing a fresh install.
When install 2005, the basic dance is:
Disc 1 (which *is* XP SP2)
Disc 2 (MCE bits)
Back to Disc 1
You should not need to download SP2 (or use a separate disc), in fact if
you
do, you will probably end up with a botched install.
You have 2005, you're looking in the wrong place for the version, you are
seeing the underlying OS. You need to check in the MCE interface,
Settings,
About to find the MCE version.

Well... nobody replied (no wonder) so started myself. It wasn't easy,
took
me
a DAY to install with all the other programms. First I did not have any
internet, figured it out that needed the drivers from the original
comp.
disk
than I couldn't install the upgrade because I did not have .NET.Frame
1.1
and
1.1 SP2. Downloaded from microsoft and it worked.
It still shows 2002 though in MyComp. Property.
