MCE PC, connecting to my setup
Tech-Archive recommends: Fix windows errors by optimizing your registry
Hi,
I will be getting a MCE PC in the very near future.
I currently have a CRT TV and a projector in my front room.
They are both connected to a Denon A/V Amp.
The TV is connected to the amp via via S-Video
The Projector is connected by Component Video (Y/Pb/Pr)
I have a DVD player connected to the amp with component video
(progressive scan)
What I am puzzled about is, how will I connect my new MCE PC up to this
setup, retaining the best quality?
Would I need to purchase a RGB -> Component video (Y/Pb/Pr) converter
box like this?
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=170053216278
Or is there a better way, maybe a video card that will output Y/Pb/Pr
and S-Video?
My projector is a Sony VPL-VW12HT
This supports 480i, 480p, 720p, and 1080i and has a 1366x768 native
resolution, if that makes any difference.
I really need the setup to display on the TV AND the projector without
having to mess about with changing resolutions on the MCE PC.
Thanks for any pointers!
