RC2 was not the final release.

Mine too. It expired yesterday afternoon. I get a Decoder Error now
whenever I try to play a DVD.
I found a note from Naveen Thumpudi [MSFT] from 9/13/2006 saying "Codecs
in
the final Vista release would not have such an expiration."
Isn't RC2 the final Vista Release? If so, then was Naveen speaking for
MS?
If he was speaking for MS, then ???

My Extender is fine but yes I can confirm that the RC2 decoder is
fubared... I have tried to set the NVIDIA one as default but to no
avail.
I don't want to have to buy another extender to watch TV for a few
months.
Ditto here
