I don't think its the decoder but rather some other subsystem for Extenders,
as the 360 has its own decoder. This is the first I've heard about RC2
having this problem. I guess thats what we get for being early adopters...

This seems to have been already reported but it looks like the RC2 decoder
has expired in the same way as the RC1 did Jan 1st. I can set the date

to Jan 3rd and the decoder works but I have a question. I do not watch TV
on
my PC only through the XBOX360 which has it's own decoder but this also
appears to be affected so I have the feeling it's not so much a decoder
just
a general expiration problem. Why would the XBOX be affected by a decoder
problem.
Does anyone know if this is the case. Will using Nvidia decoder or another
decoder help. It's going to be a few weeks until Vista is out. I know the
pitfalls of being on Beta software but I just didn't expect it to stop
working completely. My whole house is wired for 360's driven by a vista
PC.
