You can either tweak your converter's parameters (assuming any are
tweakable) or you can try a different converter. I use the Video ReDo Plus
program (www.videoredo.com) to edit my recorded TV, and it outputs MPEG
files, which I can then burn with either Media Center or Nero. You could
also use the free DVRMSToolbox to extract the MPEG file.

Okay, I converted a movie to ntsc-dvd. Then, before burning to dvd, I
watched some of it, to see how it turned out. The sound does not match up
with the picture. The sound is a few seconds ahead of the picture. How
do I fix this? Its not how it is in original format.
