I found an HDMI Video Capture Card for the PC....

Since I have DirecTV, why would one need a TV Tuner card anyway? Could I use
an HDMI video caputure card? Since this type of card doesn't have the IR
out, is there a simple IR out card that could allow me to change channels?
Anyone willing to try out something like this below?
