Media Center is built on XP Pro. Unless you need to join a domain, there
is no reason to change.

Would I have to buy a full version to change my operating system from
Media Center XP to XP Home and/or Pro?
Thanks
Anthony
Well, my issue is that I am getting started into home recording and from
what I have read that Pro Tools (supposedly the most widely used DAW system
for recording) doesn't play nice with Media Center. It supports XP Home and
Pro but not Media Center. Which is quite odd to me but, i'm sure digidesign
would know better than I. Just wanted to get my ducks in a row before I go
head first into this...
Thanks,
Anthony...
