Do you have any third-party firewall, intrusion detection, anti-virus,
privacy guard, or parental control software installed on your PC?
Also, how does your Xbox connect back to your PC? (wired/wireless,
make/model of routers/switches between the two, etc.)

Running 5.1.2715.3011 Media Centre Eddition which is refusing to connect
to
an Xbox 360 using the extender. This is even though the task bar is
showing a
ballon that shows that an xbox 360 is available on the network. When using
either the MCE lite or full versions it fails to locate the extender.
Have tried a complete clean install with no other software other than MS
and
ATI( graphics Card). Have disabled the windows firewall. Installed all
updates from Windows update, and checked everything I can think of.
