You may have to replace the laptop keyboard but first i would try Doug's
idea of an external keyboard. Unfortunately, had the problem been a key that
no longer worked, then an external keyboard would solve the problem 100%.
I had a similar problem where someone spilled a coffee on my laptop which
caused a key to be stuck on, just like you. When an external keyboard is
attached they generally work in tandem meaning you can use both keyboards at
the same time, that is unless your laptop provides the functionallity to
force which keyboard, mouse, or screen to use. So even though an external
keyboard is attached, the result is that the same repeated keystock is still
being sent.
Good luck,
James

Hi,
I have a broken enter key on my laptop's keyboard and my wireless keyboard
doesn't work until windows boots. The issue is that I get to the safe
mode
menu and then cannot select the last known good configuration option or
safe
mode option and if I let the timer run down the laptop reboots and I have
the
same problem. Is there anything I can do other than replace the keyboard
for
the laptop itself? I have already tried a normal boot disk but if there
are
any other disks anyone could recommend that would be brilliant.
Cheers
