Re: Xbox 360 Not found during Extender Setup

Tech-Archive recommends: Fix windows errors by optimizing your registry

Yes I did, I'm using the Media Center Extender Manager to do so, and it opens
the xbox360 setup program that I would normally download. I used packetmon,
a packet sniffer, and it looks suspicious. Here is one of the packets:

Protocol: UDP
IP: 192.168.1.100 (xbox)
Port: 1132
Dest IP: 239.255.255.250
Dest Port: 1900
Size: 243

The rest are pretty much the same, with the exception that the size is
sometimes 666. The thing is, my computer's ip address is 192.168.1.101. So,
the destination Ip address of the packet is wrong, but I dont' know how to
fix this. I went into xbox settings and disconnected selected computers from
Connect and Media Center, restarted the xbox, and still have the same problem.

I'm using a linksys router WRT54GC.

Now, I've connected before, but I wound up reinstalling XP MCE on my
computer, and now it can't connect. I've even tried unstalling all the
MCE
updates/rollups and reinstalling them, and nothing works. It still can't
connect, and I haven't made any changes to the router.

Any help is greatly appreciated, I'm stuck!
