Also came across & submitted some addt'l bad guide data; I urge everyone
who's seeing incorrect or missing guide data to submit the info via MS'
submission form, else they're never going to fix it...

US)

---

Date and Time of incorrect listing as listed in the guide:

Every morning & day, 3am to 5pm
(discovered the problem w/the Nov 9th data)

Network call sign and channel number:

Channel 9.1 / KQEDDT

What type of information did you expect to see?

9.1 is off the air until 5pm each day;
so the MCE guide should show "off-air" from
6am to 5pm. Additionally, beginning at approx
3am the MCE guide content for 9.1 does not
match the programming; for instance, on 11/9
from 3am-6am 9.1 was broadcasting children's
content (reference zap2it.com website for
details), but the MCE guide exhibited epg
data from _analog_ channel 9.

What type of information was actually displayed?

The data reported at the zap2it.com website
for 9.1 is correct, but in MCE 9.1 shows up
with guide content from *another* channel;
it appears to actually be displaying info
from 9.2 and/or 9.5, depending upon the time.

I'm having the same issue, and it's distressing that the problem's not
resolved, months after folks had reported it :(

I, too, just submitted feedback re: this via the EPG feedback site:

Date and Time of incorrect listing as listed in the guide:
All listings for SUB-channels are incorrect

Network call sign and channel number:
KQED-DT 1091 (main channel, epg data ok)
KQED-DT2 1092 (sub channels, epg data wrong)
KQED-DT3 1093
KQED-DT4 1094
KQED-DT5 1095

KRON-DT 1041 (main channel, epg data ok)
KRON-DT2 1042 (sub channel, epg data wrong)

KGO-DT 1071 (main channel, epg data ok)
KGO-DT2 1072 (sub channels, epg data wrong)
KGO-DT3 1073

What type of information did you expect to see?
The information for the main channels is ok,
but info for SUB-channels (e.g., 4.2, 9.2,
9.3, etc) is missing or incorrect; by default,
once the sub-channels are manually added the
guide will duplicate EPG data from the *main*
channel.

What type of information was actually displayed?
The info displayed for the SUB-channels is the
same as that for the main channel.

I live in Boston and have 4 OTA PBS digital sub-channels for which I do not
get the proper guide information. The channels show up and display properly
but the guide infromation is just a copy of the major channel. Specifically,
I get the correct information for WGBHDT 2.1 but WGBHDT 2.2 is a copy of 2.1
and incorrect. The guide for WGBX 44.1 is correct but 44.2, 44.3 and 44.4 is
a copy of 44.1. The correct informaiton is available on
http://tvlistings5.zap2it.com so I don't know why they are incorrect on MCE.
I purchased the MCE computer specifically to watch and record the digital
programs on PBS and I'm very frustrated the I don't have a complete guide.
Any suggestinos? Is there a way to get Microsoft to correct this?

Thanks
Peter
