It now says file or assembly name ehiProxy or one of its dependencies was not
found. It also says a problem occurred during setup

Ummm,
How do you go into the HKey registry?
"Jason Tsang" wrote:
The ident value in your registry is likely wrong.
First find out what version of Media Center you have. Specifically, the
number you are interested in is the version. Find out the exact version
number in Media Center via Settings, General, About Media Center,
Software
version (should be 5.1.something.something)
After noting that number... goto
http://salloway.org.uk/mediacenter/2004/version.htm and find your version
of
Media Center and find the corresponding IDENT value. If your version of
Media Center is 5.1.2715.3011, then the Ident value should be 4.0
Next, go into your registry into the
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Media
Center\Ident key and see if the value is the same number as what it
corresponds to in Mark's chart. If it doesn't, fix it, and the Xbox 360
Extender software should install.

I downloaded the 2005 thing, but it said it can only be run on Media
Center
2005.
And I checked what kind of Media Center I have, it says Media Center
2005
with Update Rollout 2.

Ok, it worked, but now the Xbox won't use the media center. Also,
there
is
no media center extender program on the computer programs list.
There
is
only windows media connect 2. I downloaded the "extender" from
http://www.xbox.com/en-US/pcsetup/alldownloads.htm and then click on
the
2005
with update, then clicked the download

I've got a 360. I download Extender to stream. I run the
program,
hit
next
for all, wait for it, then it says setup error. I've done this
several
times
and don't know the problem.
Help please
