Tech-Archive recommends: Fix windows errors by optimizing your registry

When did it start? Was it working before? If it was working before then try to do a system restore.Select any point when everything was just fine.

I know others have had this problem if someone can help will be greatly appreciated. When I try to start Media Center I get error: Application has generated an exceptionthat could not be handled. Process id=0x8d4(2260), Thread id= 0x308(776). Click OK to terminate the application. Click CANCEL to debug the application.
When I click CANCEL to debug get error Registered JIT debugger is not available, etc.

I have tried removing .NET Framework 1.1 then reinstalling then installing the Service Pack 1 and Hotfix KB886903.
Nothing works.
Any ideas??
