Did you install the appropriate MPEG2 codecs (via some DVD Playback
software)?

AverMedia Card Bus Tuner white box "approved for MCE 2005" slides into my
laptops PCIMCIA slot also has a USB connection for additional power when
needed.
Downloaded drivers from AverMedia site. XP didn't like the drivers
because
they wern't digitally signed, but I installed them anyway. Tuner shows as
working in Device Manager, also has little blue that is lit when in slot.
Why then do I get the dreaded "Tuner Not Found" nag?
Uninstall,reinstalled,
restarted but no go. MCE is current with updates Rollup 2 with critical
updates also installed. Any ideas? I have plenty of time to try all
suggestions. thanx
