You don't want to have two OS's on the same partition.
Your best course of action would be to shrink the current partition toat
Windows XP MEdia Center is on, and then install XP Pro to the newly created
empty space (you'd make a new partition in that empty space and install
Windows XP Pro there).
Alternatively, getting a new hard drive is relatively cheap these days.

I have a HP Pavilion laptop with XP media installed. I want to create a
dual boot with XP pro so i can use the system on our company network and
install Sequel Server. The laptop comes with a re-imaging partition and
no
disks. Therefore, i can not re-install the XP media if i wipe it out.
Some
of the drivers are not available for download and therefore can not be
installed after installing xp pro (example codec).
How can i create a dual boot on the existing xp media partition?
