I have the same problem. MCE processes are consuming all the resources and
video is unwatchable. I have to use software I received with ATI tuner. I
currently use only Guide in MCE and slideshow. I think it is the result of
latest update.

Lately MCE has been running extremely slowly. It will work perfectly for
about an hour after I reboot, then become borderline unwatchable. TV
stutters
(especially when I try to rewind), tons of lag when scrolling through the
guide. I've tried updating all drivers and defragging. When watching
recorded
content it plays okay, but still has the stutters from when it recorded.
Anyone have any ideas what could fix this? It used to run with no problems
and I am unsure what caused the problems to begin.
