Remote locks up upon entering MCE menu.

Tech-Archive recommends: Fix windows errors by optimizing your registry

I'm getting occasional remote lock ups. I press the green button and then
begin to scroll however the remote will only allow me to scroll one position
up/down then lock up. After a few seconds normal service resumes and any key
presses are caught up. Only appears to happen the very first time I hit the
green button. Just wondered if anyone else had seen this and found an
answer. Thanks.
