You need a 360 on each TV. The server has to have enough tuner cards for
each TV to choose its own channel. That's a problem with MCE, since it only
supports (natively) two SD and two HD tuners. You can hack it to get to
three (four if you want to watch at the server).
You also might want to look at www.snapstream.com at BeyondTV and BeyondTV
link. I think they do this better, but require an older PC attached to each
TV.

So if I understand this thread correctly, I'm going to need a Media Center
Extender if I want to watch TVs in different parts of the house? And, it
has
been suggested, that XBox 360 is the tool to do that?
Does that mean I'll need an XBox 360 for EACH of the TVs I've got (3 of
them)?
I was hoping to put my cable connection into my server through an HD PVR
card, so that each of my workstations could play whatever TV station they
cared to (kids watching different channels). Is that not possible? And,
I'm
still wondering how each of the kids changes their respective TV
channels??

If you look around you can still find the Linksys and HP extender
available
in some online stores. However, for the price difference (an XBox 360
Core
System is sufficient for extender functionality), go with the 360.

HP and Linksys have discontinued theirs long ago. The only thing out
there
appears to be an XBox... I'm not going to buy a video game console
simply
to
be able to watch TV from the Media Center in other rooms of the house.
Are
there any other options out there?
