Bad news.
By default, MCE supports either digital or analogue - but not both. So you
can listen to FM radio if you tune to analogue TV. If you tune to digital
TV,
FM radio does not work.
If you tune to DVB-T TV, you should find that right at the bottom of the
list of the stations you want to listen to, digital radio broadcasts are
also
listed, so you can listen to them - but through your TV option.
There are some people out there who see this as a challenge, and have
worked
hard to find a way to have FM radio and digital TV together. If you are
interested, there is one such post -

Good luck.

It should be on the main MCE menu, but I don't know how MCE supports
DVB-T
tuners. I'm running Vista right now, so can't check, but you can try
Control Panel, Add/Remove Programs. Lower left corner click Program
access
and defaults. Click the Custom listing. Scroll down to Media Center and
see
if Radio is listed, and enabled.

Thanks for you help...
I'm sure that my tv receiver has an FM tuner... i have the dvb-t stick
from
Freecom that i was originally using with the bundled software. I could
scan
for stations and listen to the radio with that software no problem, but
since
i'm using it with MCE i have only been able to receive tv, and have had
no
option to listen the the radio and cannot find where to.
Is there a specific location that im missing?
"Doug Knox - [MS-MVP]" wrote:
To do this, your tuner card must also have an FM radio tuner, as well.
Many
do, so its not a problem. During setup MCE will recognize that you
have
compatible FM tuner hardware and allow you to listen to FM radio. If
you
have dual tuners, then you may have two FM tuners, as well. In this
case,
MCE will decide which one to use, so you may have to move your FM
antenna
from one to the other.

I'm not much of a technology wiz, and don't understand how to listen
to
the
radio stations by using media centre. Can anyone help me? Maybe a
little
step
by step guide? :)
Thanks to any help
