What is your default settings for recording? What kind of shows are these
that are being deleted? Is it a show that you record only once, or a series
that you are recording every time it is on? There are different settings for
each. Take a look at Settings | TV | Recorder | Recording Defaults | Look
at (4 of 9) Keep: (for a show you record once) and also Keep up to: (9 of 9)
(for a series) Hope this helps.

i have, as has everyone, allocated a set amount of space for recording tv.
But I find that programmes are cancelled despite my system saying that I
have
another 3 hours of record time. I mean a FIFTEEN MINUTE programme.
Im ready to tear my hair out of my head. I havent the money to purchase
increased storage at this time.
I ALSO want to transfer files to my backup drive, but am afraid in doing
so
that I'll screw up the programmes (mainly iTunes - my preferred mp3
playback
device)
Any info is appreciated, but understand that I can be rather . . . dense
and
may ask repeated stupid questions.
Thanks
.
