WinXP Pro SP2
512MB RAM
Intel 2.4Ghz
Office 2003

I'm trying to find the START>RUN command that allows me to configure
startup
options for Microsoft and non-Microsoft programs. I've been on WinXP Help
and searched for startup configurations etc. and I'm given the typical F8
search options etc. What is this program's name?
I'm attempting to free up some resources so the system runs faster. It
was
my son's at college and their a bunch of unneeded programs starting up so
I'm
in the process of classifying and removing them at startup to free some
RAM.
Other ideas also appreciated - like easily cross identifying the programs
that DO start with the executable/process name without doing a Google or
MSN
search all the time.
TIA

.
