You can enter the Recovery Console by booting up with XP Cd and at the prompt type "fdisk /mbr" (without the quotes).Press the Enter key.Restart.

I have a Vista RC1, XP, Ubuntu Linux 6.06LTS triple-boot system. My Windows Partitions are:
C:/ - (Windows XP) NTFS 100GB
E:/ - (Windows Vista RC1) NTFS 90GB
F:/ - FAT32 10GB
My Linux partitions are:
/dev/sda6 - Linux installation- ext3 format-35GB
/dev/sda7 - linux-swap 5GB
I wanted to uninstall Ubuntu. So is formatting the 2 linux partitions all I have to do? Will formatting them remove the GRUB bootloader?
