With a PC running Microsoft Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005, a home network, a TV, and an Xbox 360 you can open a new door to room-to-room entertainment in your home.

I am new to using the WMCE, so my question here may be a bit simple. In any event, I am about to purchase a new PC (considering the HP s7600y series) with WMCE installed, with the intent for it to be the entertainment hub (located in the family room, connected to a TV) for my home. One of the goals, is to use the WMCE to play music, and broadcast it to targeted speakers positioned in various locations in the house, e.g., outside near pool. Before making the purchase, I want to confirm that I will be able to listen to the music, say outside near the pool, and also have others in the family room be able to watch TV (with program sound being played via TV speakers) at the same time..
Thanks,
Roger
