Except you can't 'just run out and buy it'. At least I don't think so.
You used to have to buy it as an OEM product that required a hardware
purchase as well. Newegg.com has it.

I've just purchased the last parts for my MediaCenter. So here is my
question:
Do I need a version of XP (Home/Pro.) to install MCE2005? or is there a
XP
OS including in MCE2005, if it does, can it be used like a normal XP
OS?
It would be a little inoing to by a MCE2005 version, if I also should't
have
XP copy!
