Does this happen on all channels? Does your cable signal get split (much)
where it comes into your house? Sometimes it helps to have an amplified
splitter because for some reason PC tuners don't work well unless they have
a strong signal...

I have just hooked up my cable tv cable to my mce 2004. I can't get the
signal to work. The screen is all black. I ran the wizard and downloaded
the guide just fine, but when I click live Tv, the screen is black with
the
green border, no sound. I went back to my regular antenna and re-ran the
setup for regular type tv, rebooted, and live tv works again. Does anyone
know what I may have missed that causes the cable not to be recognized by
mc
and have a black screen? Thanks.
