When you download and install the MMC appliation from the ATI Website for
your AIW card make sure that you also get the ATI Decoder software from the
same download page since other Decoders appear to have problems decoding the
MCE video files made using the ATI software encoder used in the MMC
application.

Thanks. I'll try that.

First, make sure you install the ATI Media Center Edition Extension.
Redo the media center setup (under settings), and choose customize/manual
setup. Then it gets to the remote area choose NO remote and then on to
the
next section.
Goodluck!

I have an ATI X800XT All-In-Wonder Video Card set up on my PC with Media
Center running. I was able to install the video card and drivers, but I
cannot get it to work with media center. I keep getting stuck and the
Remote
detection. Read every instruction possible, so I'm positive the setup
is
right. I was using the remote that came with the video card, but then I
bought the Microsoft MCE Remote, hoping that would solve the problem,
but
that didn't help. I am using an FTA receiver, Pansat 2700, which I'm
pretty
sure is infrared and not UHF. Any suggestions? Getting frustrated
already...
