Re: Double disc trouble

What you might try is rip the 2nd one first, then rename its directory
before ripping the first one. You might also want to post in the Media
Player newsgroup as they concentrate on Media Player there, rather than
Media Center.

Thanks, Dana.

I have turned off WMP's ability to fetch album data if the album already
is
in the archive.

But the problem is that when I have ripped disc one and go for disc two,
it
believes this is disc one again (which at this point HAS album data), but
when ripping it overwrites the first rip.

Do you think that by completely turning off wmp's ability to fetch data
that
I can work around this? And if so - can I turn it back on you think so
that I
can use the ability for future albums?

The only alternative I've found is to turn off Media Player's ability to

titles yourself.

Hi all.

When ripping my extensive CD collection, I have run into trouble with
several double disk albums, where the producers obviously have entered
the
same disk ID for both.

This means when ripping the second disk (if Media center /WMP allows it
at
all), it only replaces the first disk.

This is pretty frustrating, since I really would like both disks to be
available from Media Center.

Any ideas, anyone? A neat workaround would be nice. :)

Thx.

Steve
