Tech-Archive recommends: Repair Windows Errors & Optimize Windows Performance

Rebooting does not rectify the situation, sadly.

More info...

It seems I have no sound in my TV now, possibly causing the issue I
mentioned. I have not updated drivers that I'm aware of (unless they were
an auto-update) and my roll-back should have fixed that, right?
Not to mention, sound works fine in Windows and in the Media Center
program. Just not when I turn on the TV. Any thoughts?

Can you fix it with a reboot?

I simply understand that the incoming TV signal goes through the Stream
Buffer Engine (SBE). If it has died or locked up for some reason you
should see that effect I can imagine.
