Hopefully if a team from within Microsoft does it, it would be the Live
Messenger team.
However, with the great development tools that are being released for
Vista's Media Center (http://blog.mediacentersandbox.com/), this
functionality can be written up by anyone who is interested in doing so.

well that just Bites. It was one of the things i enjoyed about Media
center
is that i could chat while watching tv or a dvd. Hopefully some 3rd party
will be smarter than Microsoft and come up with a plugin. maybe one with
trillian like functionality that could communicate with other messenger

Did they remove Messneger from media center in Vista or is it just
hiding
somewhere? if it is not there does anyone know if they will be putting
