You'd have to add the additional directories to the Watched Folders registry
key.
To do this, open the registry by going to Start, Run and type 'regedit'
Then navigate to
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Media
Center\Service\Recording
For the Value 'WatchedFolders', add the directories that you want Media
Center to monitor.
Once you've made this change, you'll need to restart the ehrecvr service (if
you don't know how to do this, then the easiest way to do it is to reboot
your computer).
Hope this helps.

hi, i want to use extra hardrives to store my recorded tv. I understand
that
i can only direct WMC to store at one location at a time (by changing the
settings where to store the TV recording). However, my real question is
about
viewing, not recording: when i want to view my recorded tv, can i populate
the recorded tv list in WMC from multiple locations? That way i could
manually move my recorded tv files to an external hard drive after
recording
to make sure the internal harddrive does not become full but still view
the
comprehensive content stored on hardware attached to my computer without
everytime having to go to 'settings' to have it look in different places
and
seeing only part of my content. tx mikey
