As a student myself, I disagree. If the person in question feels that they
can handle having a tv tuner on their computer, then all the power to that
person.

If you're getting ready for college, there's a whole lot of things you
need. A TV is not one of them. Save your money and buy books. If
there's something on TV you really need or want to watch, go to a
friend's room or home and watch it with them. It's always more fun
that way, too.

I just recently purchased a vaio laptop with xp media center edition.
since i don't want to bring a tv that takes up a lot of space i want to
get a usb tv tuner....i know that the wintv one is out there. are there
any other usb tv tuners that work with mce? thanks in advance.
