I've learned that the XBOX 360 can be used as an extender & will
provide the same GUI (more or less) as my HP Media Center does.
As with all video game consoles, the time will comes when the XBOX 360
get's sold CHEAP (like old nintendos). Are we there yet? Where could I
pick an XBOX (besides eBay) that would be used only as an extender &
how much might I expect to pay? Is there a "minimum model" that I'll
need? I intend to use a cable (not wireless). The remote, of course, is
something I will want.
ANOTHER question - currently I have cable as an input to my HP Media
Center M1170N, I'd like to add an arial input one of these days to
catch some higher defn channels without giving the cable company any
more money. Can this be done?
