yeah, and I never noticed until you mentioned it that it is not there...
kinda silly. I use another program to do that anyway.

while looking at library from wmp 10 right click at the top of columns
above the music (where it says title artist album etc...) you should get
a menu, left click year released and then you can edit that field right
from the library itself. The new field will appear to the right of
previous fields, but you can edit the column order by doing the same
thing (right click on columns) but this time choose more at the very
bottom, the rest should be straight forward. Holler if ya need anymore
assistance.

I have been using Winamp for years and it's built in tag editors. With
my new MCE PC I STILL have to use Winamp (or CDex) in new rips because
this field is not available in WMP's ADVANCED TAG EDITOR (shudder). It's
sad because it does other things on complete albums or playlists so well!
Am I missing something?
