There are a number of issues with 5536 and this one is one that many of us
have hit. Basically it's a sound card driver problem, I think, and I've not
heard of a workaround. Stopping and restarting Media Center made this
particular problem go away, but then I had other audio and video issues...

in 5536, audio on live TV runs a 1 second or less loop for several seconds
before it changes to a newer loop on every channel using a Hauppauge
PVR250
