Re: Can't Remotely Record after MSN Remote Record Program Update

I had shows scheduled at 7 and 8 PM (local time) that didn't show up in Your Recordings, as of 5:30 PM local. I believe there is still a time zone bug on the server side, and I've brought to my MS contact's attention and he'll forward it to the approriate MSN personnel.

Finally able to remotely schedule shows to record, and the shows are actually
RECORDING as of 8pm EST, butr . . . oddly . . . I'm not showing ANYTHING in
the MSN "Scheduled Recordings" window. It shows "No scheduled recordings" .
. . so I'm not getting the time shift Doug -- I'm just not getting anything
at all. But again, the scheduling and the recording is working after the
program update.

Check the Your Recordings page, and if you're not on the West Coast, see if the "times" are correct.

MSN is aware of the issue, we've made sure of that. And a fix is in the works. We were not given a date for its deployment, though.

I have the same problem on the East Coast (my MSN web page display shows time
off by 3 hours). It all worked before the July update was applied... I
removed the MSN record and re-installed with new kit last week, on
recomendation from "April" at MSN, but it still fails. I have updated my
local guide also. I am able to add programs localy with the Guide without a
problem... !@#$%^&*()

Let MS know there are more than 10 people effected by the problem, it seems
