Once I tune "live tv" to a dtv channel 1181, from the MCE guide. I get a
picture for a moment, never any sound, then MCE freezes up with the last
image frozen on the screen. It will not change channels or respond to any of
the remote commands.
I can use Beyond TV 4 just fine - once I stop MCE services.

mean once you select a channel from the MCE Program Guide? Can you record a
Digital channel using the program guide and play it later?

The emailed the newest version of drivers. I told them I was using
MCE2005.
The file folder reads:USB2-3560_BDA_Drivers_2.1.705.10_32bits

Yes, and I have a NTSC tuner which DOES work in MCE2005. This PC came
with
it installed along with MCE2005. Sony Vaio VGC-RB48G

Just purchased Vbox ATSC USB-2 tuner. Will not work with MCE2005.

have
checked the Atscchannels.xml and the info is correct. Once I turn
to a
channel on the vbox tuner, I have video for a short moment, Never
any
sound,
then it freezes up. I have to alt ctn del and shut down MCE. I
have
contacted Vbox and they sent me newer drivers than what came with CD
(which
was the same files that Windows had).
I downloaded Beyond TV 4 (trial version). It works great - Picture
quality
and sound is excellent. This trial is up in 19 days. I really need
a
fix
for MCE2005. Any suggestions?
