Thanks for the help. I have a friend with a different tuner, I'll give that
a shot. There are drivers on ATI that are more current than what Dell offers
but I don't know if there are some difference between OEM card I have and the
ATI retail that may cause issues.
Thanks again

Do you happen to have a friend with a Media Center PC that has a different.
tuner? If so, try playing a recorded TV show from that PC on your Xbox. I
suspect you'll find that the content coming off of your tuner is quiet (I've
seen reports of this from other users with this tuner).

The low audio is analog tv content live or recorded viewed on the 360.
The
audio for Media Center itself is normal. The PC has an ATI TV Wonder
Elite
(TVT2DT) installed with ATI Unified AVStream drivers dated 1/3/2006 and
"Legacy Video Capture Devices". I could not find an audio mixer anywhere
that referenced specifically the recorded audio levels beyond what was
associated to the onboard SigmaTel audio in the PC. The record levels are
all maxed.

Is the low audio volume with the analog TV content you're recording? If
so,
which TV tuner card do you have in your PC?

My Xbox 360 Connects via optical cable to my reciever as well as
standard
RCA
jacks to the TV. I use Component video cables to a DLP projector for
HD
content and the composite video connector to a SD TV for SD content. I
am
recording an analog cable signal through the Dell e510.
Thanks for any help you can provide.

How is your Xbox connected to your receiver? (digital or analog).
Also,
what content are you playing? (analog TV, digital TV, WMVs, etc.)

I have a dell e510 as my main MCE PC and when I play video of any
kind
through the xbox 360 extender the audio playback levels are very low
forcing
me to crank up the volume on the TV or amplifier. Is there a
setting
some
where I am missing? Audio levels at the PC seem fine.
