Hmm, i've finally managed it to work:)

i've deleted the dir C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application
Data\Microsoft\Network\Downloader
then it whas re-created automatically
it works now:) i hope windows update also, i dont believe it wont:)

since short i can't download the program guide from the internet for my
MCE
2005.
It says Windows system error code 3 or something.

I tried with firewall of and on, and tested the connection. It works fine.
But can't download the guide.
In the system log i've seen a detailed description of this error:

downloadproces voor programmagegevens. BITS (Background Intelligent
Transfer
Service) moet zijn geïnstalleerd. Raadpleeg Help en ondersteuning voor
