JW, I have confirmed Disk Caching is enable and the HD is using DMA,
infact,
Ultra DMA mode 2. The delay we are speaking of is a 1 second delay

going from one channel to the next. When you hit the button to go up

channel or enter any channel #, MCE freezes for 1 second, then the next
channel is displayed. On a conventional TV, when u change the channel,

hava

analog
cable, connected DIRECTLY to the tv tuner in my pc. The fact
that
you
don't
get any type of delay really gives me some hope now! My cable
signal
is
split between my main TV (different room) and my TV Tuner. If i
take
the
cable and connect it directly to the tv tuner (ie. no splitte),
it
makes
no
difference. What could the problem be???

Oh, what kind of TV Tuner do you have? Mine is an Emuzed Angel
PCI.
Could
it be a problem w/ this tuner?

annoying when channel surfing. Does anyone have a
