Try driving your widescreen with the DVI connection rather than the sVideo
connection...

You are correct the resolution you are using is larger then the buffer in
the S-video scan converter chip on your graphcis card. The maximum and it
is only availble with some S-Video chips is 1024x768.

I have a widescreen monitor with a resolution of 1680x1050, and my media
center pc is connected to my analogue widescreen Tv via a 'S-VHS'-cable
(S
video..). The problem is that I only see portions of the image/video on
the
Tv. If I move the mouse around I can se the other parts of it.

I tried the menu-choice for changing this but it just said I had to
change
the image-size on my tv...

I guess the solution here is to change to a lower resolution on my PC
when I
want to use the media center software?
