You're going to need a tuner card to accept the video signal from the tape
deck...your video card is only good for output to a TV or monitor/lcd. You
can get a Hauppauge 150 for <$65 online.

I am trying to record my home VHS videos to my computer. I have and XP
system with Radeon X300 video card. Please let me know what kind of
cable i need, where to plug in and if any additional hardware and/or
software is required. Any help greatly appreciated.
