Hello all -- I recently purchased a dell with windows media center and a
single tv tuner. Much to my dismay, when I attemepted to plug in my cable

cable (?) into the silver, screw-like jack on the back of my graphics card

This should work. You don't need an external cable box to get analog cable.
Does a TV connected to that cable work?
What kind of TV tuner is it? Some have a seperate connection for FM radio
and it's the same connector as cable TV.
