Thanks for the information. I did not know that. Anyway, the automatic
configuration was making my tv screen blurry, so like you said I went in and
forced it to send a 800 * 600 instead. I am learning. Thanks again.

I do not know, according to my control panel on my desktop, the nvidia
software configured both the tv and the flattop to 1024 * 768. I am only
starting my schooling for a bachelors in IT and am pretty good w/
computers,
but I have a lot more to learn. My flatscreen was never blurry, it was my
tv.
Now when I go to my control panel on my start menu it says that my
flatscreen
is configured at 1024 * 768 and my tv is configured at 800 * 600. Beats
me.
Like I said I have only had one IT course so far I have spent 2 years
almost
completing my business degree. In October I will be learning all this
stuff
for the next two years. Everything I know or figure out, I usually figure
out
by asking my brother who is microsoft certified and by trial and error. I
checked out this website, because my brother is currently in Germany on
business and was not available to help me and I was determined to figure
it
out...

Yes, you are correct, and mytv resolution is now set at800 * 600. When
my
Nvidia software automatically configured the resolution it put the tv
at
the
same resolution as my desktop, that is why nvidia told me you need to
create
a custom setting with the wizard. Hope this helps.

1. right click on the nvidia icon in the toolbar and select nview
properties
2. click on display wizard on the nview properties page
3. click next on step one of the wizard
4. select primary display and click next
5. select primary display and click next
6. select span/clone/dual mode and click next
7. select screen resolutions for each monitor and click next
8. on preview screen click next
9. click finish to save setting

Then after you save setting, save the profile so if you decide to
switch
to
another mode like single or clone you can easily switch
configurations
without having to use the wizard. Hope this helps.
